Motorhome/Campervan Insurance

Hi,
I've recently converted my ford transit into a camper. I've changed the class with the DVLA and I'm now looking fro insurance.

I can't see anything on the MSE website under insurance for campers.

I've run a search using GoCompare Motorhome but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for other comparison sites or motorhome insurance providers?

Yeah, I have. I'm looking for personal recommendations of specific brokers.

Safeguard Insurance
A-Plan
Adrian Flux
Camping and caravan club (dont have to be a member to get a quote)
Just Kampers
Carol Nash
Scenic
Comfort Insurance
Brentacre

There are loads more but just a few to try:D

Its not like car insurance, you have to put in quite a bit of leg work. Safeguard worked well for us and I have heard good things about A Plan. Just be carefull with Adrian Flux, they sting you for "admin fees" if you make any changes which cost as much as the policy.

My first camper was not a recognised conversion and i insured it with http://www.shieldtotalinsurance.co.uk, I am still with them 10 years later with my autosleeper. :beer:
