Replacing kitchen tap and sink.Any suggestions on the cost ??

Hi all,
I'm thinking of replacing my kitchen sink and tap to a new one. Does anyone have any idea please, of the cost.Im thinking of buying the sink and tap, so it would just be the labour cost.

All depends on your location as the hourly rate a plumber would charge changes lots across the country.

Also depends if the tap has isolation valves or not, and if the sink is a straight swap or the worktop will need cutting a bit.

Thanks for the reply. I live near leeds. We have a tap with hot and cold water mixed and presume it would be a straight swap if we get the right size sink.

Thete lies the problem.

You maywell struggle to get a sink exactly the same size. The sink needs to be the same size or bigger. it can't be bigger. Invariably there will ge adaptions to hot/ cold supply and waste. If the worktop needs to be cut, plus pipework adaptions, its easily half a days work.

Allow £100 labour plus parts.
