Hi could anyone point me in the right direction or suggest a fair and cheap insurer for pet insurance for an 8yr old dog who has no known problems.
Thanks

Quite an old dog in insurance terms but I have my 2 insured with Tesco, M&S is reasonable too.0

I was with Tesco, but have now switched to M & S
I have 2 golden retrievers (a 7 y.o. and a 6 month old puppy) and pay about £30 per month
The M & S cover was far better for not much more in premium.
I got a discount for applying on line, took a slightly higher excess and got a discount for 2 dogs
My M & S policy has a sum insured per year, which means that if you use up the sum insured in one year, it will continue paying for the same event (again up to the SI) in the following years.
Once the SI was used up with my Tesco policy then that was it
I think this is very important through an experience we had earlier this year.

Ive just changed from direct line to NFU MUTUAL. I found the premium to be really reasonable and ive just done my car with them too. You do need to phone them and get a quote as they dont do it online.0
