I suppose the title says it all. As a couple did you have different attitudes towards the whole thing?

EDIT: I mean all aspects of it; ovulation, testing, periods, symptoms, and the all so important fertile week.

My OH saw an article on the BBC website that said the best way to conceive was to have sex everyday. Apparently daily sex improves the sperm quality. After two weeks I said 'sorry I am too tired' and then found out I was pregnant! (First trimester always makes me tired).
Btw he did show me the article so he wasn't just making it up.

We found that just going for it worked well to get pregnant - unfortunately having a successful pregnancy can be less simple :(.
  • I think it's a really hard question to answer as it really depends on the personality of the couple. For us, fortunatly, my oh is quite laid back and relaxed about things, so is good at stopping me overthinking and worrying too much. It is a really difficult thing to go through (speaking as someone who has tried 3 years to get pregnant-and is now 16 weeks) and can put a strain on a relationship, but for us we are definitely a stronger couple for it.
