Getting paint off a galvanised garage door..?

Sorry to put up another 'getting paint off' thread. I have to do this with an up-and-over door which is already flaking in places... but the paint is quite firm in others!

Rub it over with coarse sandpaper. This'll fetch off the flaking paint, and key the sound bits ( wire brush attachment in a drill may be quicker to remove the crappy stuff ). Clean all the dust off, then whack some primer on any bare metal you've exposed. Then go over the whole lot with a topcoat of your choice. Simples.
Just make sure all the flaking paint is properly removed, and feather the bare batches into the surrounding sound paint - so you don't get any obvious "edges".0
