Wowcher Refund Please help!

Can anyone please help?
In January this year I purchased a Wowcher for £999 for dental treatment. The voucher stated 'if deemed medically unsuitable a full refund will be given'
I redeemed the voucher and attended my first session within the dates stated on the voucher. The dentist himself told me the particular treatment I paid for was suitable for me. He said that I can get a refund no problem by contacting Wowcher. I did this and Wowcher asked me to get confirmation in writing from the dental practice and to forward this on, when received, to Wowcher customer service email and this will enable to refund process.
It took me MONTHS to get the dental practice to put this in writing. Following many emails and calls chasing them they finally did this for me and I sent it to Wowcher expecting my £999 to refunded back to my credit card. However, they have now said that as the Wowcher expired in April that I am no longer entitled to a refund. THIS IS NOT stated on the voucher itself.
I have nothing to show for my £999, no product, no service nothing! Nobody is out of pocket except me! They have the £999 because they are happy to let have that credited to my Wowcher account!
Please someone help me :'(

If there is nothing in the terms and conditions that states refunds have to be claimed within the vouchers eligibility time frame go back to them stating as much, similarly look at starting a section 75 refund - there's tips at the top of this forum about it.0
