Hi. I thought I'd put this up for anyone who is searching for details about this company. 'Bath Panel World' or https://www.bathpanelworld.co.uk

If anyone has had any dealings with this company, either good or bad, please let tell me your experiences.

Anyway, I ordered a bath panel & plinth from this company on 19/06/2015 and as yet, 13/08/2015, I have yet to receive anything. As the cost was below £100 I cannot claim for it via my credit-card.

The company in question isn't answering their emails or telephone. The 0800 directs to a mobile phone whose mailbox is full. I've just emailed citizens advice as the trading standards link redirects me there. I'm currently waiting for a reply from them. I suspect I might have to try the small claims court to recover my money.

That is not quite right.

Certainly you cannot claim under Section 75 of The Consumer Credit Act if the purchase price is under £100, but you can ask your card issuer to perform a chargeback for unreceived goods.

Chargeback works with both credit and debit cards.

Have a read of MSE's Chargeback article.

Far simpler than a small claims court episode.

Hi,
I phoned my bank (Co-operative) who asked me to send in a letter stating the circumstances and what I had done to resolve the issue. I sent them a copy of my order on their website (stating 'in production but your money has been taken!') and my last email to Bath Panel World asking to cancel the order due to non-fulfillment of the order.

The Co-operative were very efficient and I received a refund into my account within a couple of days of them receiving my letter. Thanks Co-op!

PS We have had no bath panel for 2 years - we have an old cast iron bath so needed a special sized panel. After 2 years we were delighted to be able to finally afford said bath panel, only for it not to arrive! Can't believe so much emotional energy has gone into a !!!!!!! bath panel over the past few weeks. Now thinking of getting stick on tiles to put over the existing hardboard

Well, thank you all! I got a full refund from Cahoot. The procedure was pretty similar to the CO-OP user above. I did also include copies of orders I printed from bathpanelworlds website as proof. Cahoot even send a pre-paid envelope. I didn't have to mention charge back, they just used it.

So all good (well apart from sucky bathpanelworld). 'Charge back', who knew!

They did send me the panels I ordered but they never sent me an invoice and I'm trying to claim the money back from my landlord. Any help much appreciated!
