SingStar Extravaganza’ is a charity showcase at Café de Paris on August 23rd created by Sony PlayStation in aid of Body & Soul supporting families in the UK affected by HIV. This event has a central theme taken from forthcoming PlayStation 3 title SingStar, which offers players the ultimate sing-off experience.
The event forms part of PlayStations ongoing initiative to ‘inspire spectators to become players’, throughout the event spectators can join in the frivolity with a series of on the spot categories. Inspired by 80’s New York Fashion & Vougeing Balls, the event brings together the crème de la crème of London’s fashion ‘A’ List, SingStar VIP’s and Clubland Royalty.
Houses compete in a series of performance battles to determine the pop princesses and ultimate diva’s of glitz, glamour and sparkle. Hosted by Sean Rowley (Guilty Pleasures), Miquita Oliver, NY’s finest Princess Xtravaganza & Benny Ninja (America’s Next Top Model). DJ’s, Judges and performers on the night include Siobhan Fahey, Jonny Woo, Kelly Osbourne, Jodie Harsh, Giles Deacon, Siobhan Donaghy and June Sarpong.
