Only one entry per person. No responsibility will be accepted for lost or delayed entries. Incomplete entries and mechanical reproduction of multiple entries are not permitted.
The winner will be chosen at random by an independent party and contacted by 1st September 2015. If confirmation from the winner is not received within 14 days from when they are awarded the prize, it will be considered forfeited and another winner will be drawn at random.
There is one prize of a 7 night South Carolina BBQ Trail for x2 Prize includes a 7 night accommodation on a half board basis, 2 return economy flights from Manchester or Heathrow and 7 nights car hire Prize is valid for travel between 10th January 2016 and 24th March 2016.
Accommodation stated is subject to availability and change at the time of booking Once the trip is booked and confirmed any amends to the booking will be at the winner's cost.
The winner may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
The winner must be a UK resident aged 18 years or over and in possession of a valid passport. Proof of address may be required.
The winner will be responsible for ensuring that they have adequate travel insurance.
It is the winner's responsibility to arrange their own visa to enter the USA. The winner must comply with and is responsible for attending to any inoculation and health regulations or visa requirements required for their destination.
The winner is responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel to and from the London departure airport.

Day by Day Itinerary


Day 1 London - Charlotte

Fly from the UK to Charlotte. Upon arrival pick up your car from the airport and drive to your hotel in Spartanburg. The remainder of your day is free to explore.

Day 2 - Spartanburg

Start your morning with an overview of Spartanburg's history at the Spartanburg Regional History Museum, where you will find exhibits about their rich textile and military history, beautiful handcrafted furniture and other decorative arts from Spartanburg County, as well as a variety of changing exhibits.

Stop for lunch at Carolina Barbecue on Lone Oak road. This will be the first BBQ restaurant on your itinerary and is an all time favourite. The reviews say it is the best BBQ in Carolina.

After you have enjoyed an amazing BBQ enjoy the rest of the day at Leisure.


Day 3 - Spartanburg - Columbia

After breakfast continue your journey onwards to Columbia. Check into your hotel and take a stroll to your next restaurant... the Palmetto Pig Columbia. This is a BBQ buffet restaurant so will really give you a taste of everything.

Day 4 - Columbia - Charleston

Continue your journey to Charleston. Enjoy the afternoon and evening at Leisure.

Day 5 - Charleston

Today, visit some of the numerous Plantations and Gardens just outside of Charleston. Moss draped oak trees align the long road into Boone Hall, which is still a working plantation. There one can tour the stately home, original slave cabins and beautiful gardens. At Magnolia Plantation one will find the oldest gardens in America which bloom year-round, as well as the original estate, antebellum cabin, nature train and boat and other attractions depicting this pre-Revolutionary war plantation.

Day 6 - Charleston - Myrtle Beach

After breakfast continue your journey along the coast to Myrtle Beach. Once you arrive drop your luggage off at the hotel and head to Sticky Fingers BBQ for some of their famous ribs!

Day 7 - Myrtle Beach

Spend a full day at your leisure. With over 100 golf courses along the Grand Strand, it's easy to find a nearby course or you can take a salt-water deep sea fishing expedition or even take a dolphin watching cruise along the coast. The more adventurous can rent jet skis, go windsurfing, parasailing or scuba diving.

Day 8 - Myrtle Beach to London

Enjoy some breakfast on the beach before heading back to Charlotte airport for your return flight home. Drop your car off at the airport before you check in for your flight.

Day 9 - London

Arrive back into London after a fantastic holiday.
