overdraft charges

Hi, does anyone know if you can reclaim overdraft charges? A friend keeps getting charged for going over and it seems like she will never get out of the circle?? Anyone help????

In general, no you cant reclaim charges. However, if the friend is in financial hardship an in a spiral of charges, then she can make her case to the bank for a consideration under financial hardship and they may refund some charge or suspend some charges in the future.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
