I had a call from them yesterday... I said politely to the guy that I wasn't interested as I already subscribed to Mens Health... He asked if I wanted Esquire or something... I said NO! He said it was only £1 for three issues...
.... I said NO again and just hung up.
Today the company called again and I didn't answer. I have registered with the Telephone Pref Service and next time they call I will ask for the company name because I am ex-directory and that I plan to sue. That should stop them calling. *evil grin*

Hi All,
I had been receiving calls from this number and had been ignoring them.
However when I did finally answer they were trying to sell me subscription to Q magazine.
However having made it clear upfront that I wasn't interested, the guy I was speaking to immediately stopped trying and went into the funniest spoof sales pitch I had ever heard and by the end I was crying with laughter.
If all sales pitches were like that I would subscribe to the lot!

Got a call from 02079253600 this morning. Googled it and this thread came up!
The lady said I had entered a competition on "your family tree". Alarm bells started ringing thinking I had won something. (I honestly can't remember entering, as I've entered that many comps since the start of the year).
Anyway she carried on by saying they were doing a promotion and asked me If I was regular reader. When I said I don't remember ever reading it, she put the phone down on me!Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £24,616.090
