Freegle/Freecycle Scams

I am a moderator on my local Freegle site and I thought I would post on here about the scams that are currently going round that we know of.
The items that are listed are:
Large Fish Tank
Power assisted Bicycle/Electric Bicycle
Industrial Sewing Machine
These are OFFERS that are getting through to some message boards and when you apply to them the poster says they have just moved house since the message was posted but if you give your address they will send the item by courier for a small fee.
There is no courier and you will also get a follow-up message saying that this non-existant courier wants money for insurance to cover the item.
Another one doing the rounds is an Offer for a pile of bricks but when you contact them they want to charge for them, this again is wrong and if possible should be reported back to the Mods on your board.
If you hear of any other please let me know so that I can warn the other Freegl Boards.

The items may change but the scam remains the same unfortunately. People will still fall for it and pay out.0

We've been regularly offered Samsung flat screen TVs and a moped (pictured with eastern European number plates).
From memory some items are delivered with an arrangement to pay the courier on arrival. Unsurprisingly any boxes delivered are full of tat.
Non in the last few months.0
