Why is it that some people find it so hard to use the correct word? What is it about these two words that causes people to swap their meanings?
There have been several posts on MSE forums where people have used opaque when they meant transparent. (This is the usual incorrect usage).

Your rite their. Eye brought some transparent windows from my glasser a few weeks ago but there totally 110% opaque - ewe can see rite threw them!
I'm sacred to ask him about it though cos he's a decent glasser and eye don't want to loose him!0 -
