The nationwide search for 'do crafts' Crafter Of The Year 2007 is finally here!
Crafters will battle it out in the four most popular craft categories which are; Card Making, Scrapbooking, Kid’s crafts and ATC’s.
All you have to do is upload your handmade project to the members gallery on https://www.docrafts.co.uk from now untill Friday 14th September 2007.
HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR PROJECTS
STEP 1
To upload your project to the members gallery you must be logged in and a member of the website.
STEP 2
View the members gallery by clicking on the 'gallery' tab at the top of this page followed by clicking the 'Upload Your Image' link.
STEP 3
Follow the on screen instructions and browse your computer for your particular image. Your photo must be no larger than 1Mb or 1,000kb. The website will modify the dimensions of your project to suit the gallery requirements. Use only plain letters, no odds, for example (e.g. &) and keep the number of characters in the your file name below 10.
STEP 4
You can give the project a title and write a max of 2000 characters and then select appropriate categories for them to upload into and to enable others to search for them accordingly.
The first round of voting will take place for a limited period of two weeks from Sunday 16th September 2007. Only 30 finalists from each category will go through to the final round where the battle will commence from Monday 1st October. The public will be encouraged to vote for their ultimate favourite, resulting in four winners and four runners up.

* The Crafter Of The Year 2007 competition is open to all residents within the UK and the Republic Of Ireland. (Travel arrangements and expenses are not included)
* Entries must be uploaded to the Crafter Of The Year gallery by Friday 14th September 2007.
* All entries must not have been entered into any previous competitions or published previously in any UK publications or websites.
* Your entry must be original. Those that breach this guideline will be disqualified.
* You need to keep hold of your entry. If you are a winner or runner up then this may be required for future publicity.
* You must enter a title for your project when you upload it to the gallery.
* We ask that you use 'do crafts' products but you are welcome to use other brands too.It is our policy not to allow users to promote or suggest sources of images that are subject to copyright. Messages that do this will be removed and persistent offenders may be blocked. Warning - Please do not upload images or projects that contain images that are subject to copyright unless you have permission from the owners of the IP (intellectual Property)

* The Kids Crafts category is only open to those aged 4 - 14 years.
* The entries will be judged by 'do crafts' members who will vote for their favourite.
