    Notes

God I knew that the amounts would go up from last month but not as bad as that! Jeezo, we had some expenses last month for DH starting his new job. Full new wardrobe, he went from working outdoors to indoors & having to attend meetings etc so had to get a full rig out.

Had to get a couple of bits in for the car.

Oh yeah I ordered a static exercise bike :rotfl: god damn it!

We will both use it so will be an investment in our healthier future.

On a more positive note I did pay an extra 10.00 from my own budget to get my MBNA CC under 500.00, do I still get a star for that ;)

  • I'm so mad at myself.

But this diary is all about the honesty of this journey, I slipped up with the spending.

I wish I could bottle this feeling & just have a wee reminder when I want to spend again in the future.

At this point I can't rule out that this will never happen again, I am going to focus of this though.

Must. Not. Spend. Any. Money. On. Non. Essential. Stuff!

    Flipping hell.

  • I know this feeling well. Please don't let it ruin your weekend or your previous good work. You are doing and have done so well. I think you should take comfort that you feel this way rather than spending and not noticing. It is going to come good. Its just going to take time. Big hug. xxx

    2018 plans - reduce debt
  • I'll be fine PSL.

It's just that initial feeling when you see how it has affected the plan.

Thank you my sweet, appreciate that.

  • You wouldn't be human if you didn't slip up now and again. ;)

The important thing is to look at this as a lesson rather than a failure, and learn something from it. If you can identify the circumstances that make you more prone to spending, it will help you to make a better choice the next time you are in a similar situation.
