I do calorie count but I find it hard to keep track and it can get a bit tricky. I liked ww and I found it really helpful but also a bit like a cult because in my group people would say things that just couldn't be true like people insisted when they are hungry they just have a water and an apple and it was easy to ignore the chocolate and I just used to find that a bit silly. Like I believe them but its not easy and apples do not taste better than chocolate. EVER.
But ww was a massive source of support. Before I went I used to go to mcdonalds every week and eat frosties for breakfast, not eat fruit and go to chip shop once a week- they knew me by name. Im changing my habits slowly, it cant happen overnight. I have bran flakes for breakfast every day without fail now- unless I stay somewhere else other than my home which is rare. Then I have bananas and apples, and fruit, vegetables wholegrain, brown rice, less sweets, almost completely cut out fizzy drinks and haven't been to mcdonalds or burger king in 2016, cream cakes are a treat rather than a "saturday" thing, takeaways are a treat and i reduced my Chinese intake which is my favourite Im trying very hard, it is very tough if you love eating. But I had got into some terrible habits. I loved those chocolate cereals but genuinely feel much healthier now and couldn't eat that in the morning any more! I need to try harder really, it should be more of a priority for me! Please keep letting us know how you get on. Its really good to read about your successes. Xxx2017- 5 credit cards plus loan

Btw I meant to say that I think going to these groups makes you temporarily feel fatter, but you're not at all, you're just more aware. You are doing really well and you need to hold onto that as momentum. You need to listen to the scales and tell yourself you are doing well. xxx2017- 5 credit cards plus loan

Aw thanks PSL.
I get what you mean, people that are like oh I forgot to eat today aswell......... eh what! I am already thinking about my lunch when I am eating my breakfast.
I also love my takeaways & treats, I think it's all about having it in moderation isn't it.
I do have days when I feel hungry & no matter what I eat I just don't feel satisfied but I just try to remind myself that I am not starving. It's the same amount of food I ate the day before & I felt fine so no cheating on these days.
My wee treat day is a Saturday though!
Couldn't live without my treats, that's what gets me through the week.

I have literally no money left.
I might need to use the CC for lunches this week, will do my best not too but its that or starve I think.
Must budget better next month.
I am out for dinner tonight aswell, one of the guys in the team is leaving. Will be a cheap one so nothing to extravagant.

I hope you enjoy your night out. We do all need them. Im with you on the no money till pay day. Im praying nothing happens that causes spending. I've got oyster topped up, meals planned, train ticket paid, declines ready for social invites. We will get there Dolly! Its going to happen. Its not that long until money in your bank account again. One day at a time (as you say to me) xxx2017- 5 credit cards plus loan

Congratulations Dolly that's a massive achievement
I took us 6 months of rejigging the budget before we found the correct sustainable figures for our lifestyle, spent months running out of money just before payday as your in for the long haul just means a little extra has to go into your social fund each month. life will always throw a curve ball every now and again. we can't budget for every scenario. i've blown my fuel budget for this month already as my niece broke her arm with complications she been stuck in hospital over the weekend so i've done and extra 160 miles so far this week ferrying stuff to my sister. these things just happen. just gotta keep on trucking.0 -

It is sooooo hot today, gonna melt in this office.
Less than a week till payday, wee DH's payday anyway.
I always get paid on the last day of the month so need to wait a wee bit longer to see how much my bonus & OT is this month :money:
In preparation of this I opened a wee savings account attached to my new Nationwide account just so that I can start squirreling away wee extra bits here & there if I can.
Once we get paid I need to sit down with my wee notebook & go over all of the accounts, been moving money about left, right & centre to keep the accounts out of the overdrafts so will owe bits & pieces to those but will get it all paid back beginning of the month & that's it done & dusted.

Oh forgot to mention earlier my 50.00 cheque came from my surveys - kerchingggggg!!!
Paid that in to my Santander account as that bank is closer to me than Nationwide. Once that clears I will pay that towards something or other, maybe the Barclaycard?!?! Not decided yet.
Still need to buy in some nibbles for the baby shower on Saturday but not too much.
Managed to print off some party games rather than having to buy them all, ordered one which is pin the dummy on the baby so that should be quite funny.
