  • Eeeeeek slowly but surely the end of the week is getting closer.

Payday & we are off to London on Friday - happy happy days!

Worked out also that with my savings I should still be able to save around 400.00ish this year. That will likely be spent on Christmas though so will start afresh with the savings plans next year.

Still happy with my decision to use my savings, feel like this is a massive step in the right direction for me :T

Well done on the weightloss :)

    Take care in London.
  • Thanks Tori.k.

DH has been paid today, yay 2 days early!!

Means I can sort out the budget & figure out my plans for next month.

Ideally want to buy in a couple of Christmas presents & maybe try & replenish some of my savings that I took out to may for this weekend in London.

Will do that next week once I see how much damage has been done, I am gonna want to buy the whole Harry Potter gift shop!

  • Hey peeps,

Been AWOL a few days, was in London for HP world & The Cursed Child Play - it was AMAZING!!!

If there are any Potterheads on here I would 100% recommend that you got see it.

Spent so much money, the majority of it I was able to take from savings so in all honestly hasn't really affected the debt totals which I am very very happy about!

Been having a wee look on Itison every day or so to see what bargains they have & Harris Tweed is back on there, 85.00 spent & I now have a cosmetic bags & 3 bags being delivered next week. Saved around 50.00 on all of it if I was to buy at RRP so I am very happy with that. I have been holding off to see when that offer would come back on for ages.

  • Okay so update on the funds as of today are.....

    :starmod: 2.61 in purse
    :starmod: 163.00 in bank

    Funds pending....

    :starmod: 50.00 survey cheque
    :starmod: 100.00 bank referral

Plans for the funds pending are to pay this towards one of the CC's, spent a bit too much on that this month due to driving to London so 2 tanks of petrol put on there.

    Plans this month are......

Lunch with my friends on Saturday
Derren Brown with my DH 9 July 2016
Baby Shower for my friend 23 July 2016

Should hopefully manage to still do this & stick to my budget but we shall see!

  • Welcome back dolly. So pleased you enjoyed your trip and the play. Hope you can have a lean rest of month. Does it help if you have recently been somewhere nice and enjoyed yourself or does that make you want to spend more. For me I think it helps and makes it easier to explain to other people but everyone is different. When you've been good it gives you momentum but can make you want to press self destruct button too! Hope your oh enjoyed trip too. Xxx

  • Ah he loved it!

So glad he also loves Harry Potter, think I would have to divorce him if he didn't :rotfl:

I think it makes it easier if you have been somewhere or done something nice.

Just ordered theatre tickets aswell for next year, will use savings to pay for that. Evita with the OH & Dirty Dancing with the girls :T

    So excited!
