Is it possible to browse the folders on another laptop via my wireless broadband connection in my house? or would it be a case of im barking up the wrong tree?
Or is the only way of doing this by remote assistance like on MSN Messenger?
I have Vista on my new laptop and on my old laptop i have Windows XP

you should just be able to share a folder over the network...
you can then navigate in explorer to \\computername and it will come up with all of the shared folders on that box.
you share a folder by right clicking, going to properties, sharing, then checking "share this folder" or something like that...
You'll need to enable file sharing if you haven't already (can't remember how to do this though...sure someone'll be along in a sec who does)
I don't think it should matter that they're XP/Vista...0 -
In Vista, you'll also need to go to the Network and Sharing Centre and turn Password Protected Sharing to off.0
