Rant: PO sending Broadband offer to the Deceased.

A little rant about the Post Office and an offer received in the post today for half price Broadband.

You may have an inkling that something is not quite normal regarding this offer.

The name on the offer is my FIL who passed away last year, The only link with his name and my address was when I closed his accounts and they refunded some money overpaid on his phone bill.

To me its just another sign of their incompetence and possibly greed to try and grab every penny possibly in advertising to anyone. Although i imagine the deceased have little need for Broadband even if it is half price.

But the reason for my rant, to my Wife it was another reason to panic that we have missed a bill which we will have to pay and an emotional tear thinking of her dad who passed away last year and her mum who passed away 2 years before that.

OK my little rant is over.


PS.. Do not worry I shall of course be claiming for lots and lots of compensation from them.
I wonder if i can eek out a small donation to the John Taylor Hospice? Worth a try i guess.
