in Gone off!
So...
I've come to like the lasting smell of "Surf" and the like, and adding in some Lenor for fabric conditioner
There's no Aldi's near here, but we do have an Asda, a Waitrose, a Tesco and a LIDL. Think we do have a Sainsburys somewhere as well. Any one recommend any good ones? Im OK with paying more if the smell lasts longer! So long as it's a nice smell ofc!
Also, ideally one at each suermarket!

Iceland have good deals on things like that , check the website for details on prices

I second the having a look in Iceland- I bought a huge bottle of Comfort in there a little while back for a couple of quid. If you check "Mysupermarket" to find out where things are on offer you might not have to give up your brand names, it's rare these days to find somewhere without an offer on brands.
However, if you're wanting recommendations on own brands Lidls washing powder washes pretty well, Formil I think it's called, I've never hit there for Fabric Conditioner though. Morrisons yellow Fabric Conditioner (sorry, can only remember the colour...) has a nice perfume, my Mum uses it all the time. I always know when I'm doing a load of drying for her in the winter (old school lady, no tumble dryer and towels do not dry themselves lol) as it's a different smell in my kitchen, very summery. I've never shopped there for powder/liquid though as they always seem to have Daz on for £2 when I go! Hope this helps, if money and storage is no object I'd stick to bulk buying branded offers. I regularly tell my husband this is why we have a shed!!0 -
How about Lidl's own brands?Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

Surf powder 23 wash size currently £4 at Tesco and if you get the free July/August magazine there's a coupon inside for £1 off, making it £3
Comfort Intense 64 wash bottle currently half price at £2.50, and a £1 coupon also inside the same magazine makes it £1.50

There's a good choice in Waitrose own brands, including one for waterproof clothing, dark/black clothes, silk/wool, as well as the usual bio and non bio varieties. They are £2. each but often on a 3 for £5.0

I just buy Tesco own brand and it works fine for me! I always use Comfort though, I only ever buy it when on offer (unless I run out)0

I switched back to powder 12 months ago from liquid and my washing machine is in a better condition than it was. Use to get a build up of black mould on the door seal with liquid but don't anymore. I buy Surf cheap in the likes of Home Bargains, but most of the time I buy ASDA own non-bio and fabric conditioner.0

I buy Fairy ( only when on offer). It lasts so much longer than the cheaper brands which tend to be more watery.0

HI Blue Eyed Girl
Did it go by itself, or did you have to clean it???
thanks
