Possession of property - Advice please!

I received a possession of property because the section 21 notice had expired and I had not found anywhere else to rent.
Previously the landlord wanted to sell the property within 2 months of a 6 months tenancy. I thought this was unfair as I had barely settled in and didn't want the first 6 months of my tenancy to be disrupted by having stranger walk around for weeks on end. So I declined viewing. I was then served a S21 notice. At the end of the tenancy, I agreed to allow viewings. I then received the claim for possession.
Is there any point defending? What happens if I don't defend?
Any advice appreciated

Assuming the 6 months is up (S21 cannot expire in the 1st 6 months) AND
your deposit was registered in 30 days AND
you were given the PI within 30 days AND
thw S21 gave you 2 months notice+ AND
was properly served
You have no defence.
If the S21 is invalid (see above) then you can defend it.0 -
