What to use on gaps between floorboards?

Hi, I've taken up the carpet in a bedroom and the floorboards look in good condition so I thought I'd sand them. However there are a few gaps between some of the floorboards, 1 or 2 are as big as about 8mm but the rest are smaller. I've seen a positive review for this stuff stopgap Does anyone have any experience using this or any other recommendations? Thanks

Oakum is the traditional substance. Worked well on old sailing boats :-)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Or rope, as you don't need it to be water-tight.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

I have tried the stop-gap tape. May be it's the lack of insulation underneath the floor ie. cold and damp but I found that after a while it works its way out and keeps popping up. I wrote to the company about it but got no response.0

Before putting any sort of filler that you had to buy i'd fill the bigger gaps with scrunched up newspaper, then you maybe able to get sawdust free from a joinery yard and mix that with your 'bought' filler.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

I've used draughtex too. It shrinks a little at the ends once you've released the stretch / tension, but otherwise is OK.0

This is what I used in my daughters house.

Dunno, what's an internal air brick got to do with it?
All we did is just draught proof the exposed floor boards, no consideration for internal airbricks.0
