Wait... hang on... a business, in it for the profit, is rounding up prices?! Say it isn't so...
I prefer the Co-op anyway.0 -
Sainsbury have been rumbled for what exactly?
Provided that the prices shown on the goods or shelf edge are the prices that they charge customers, what do you think that they are doing wrong?
Like every other supermarket chain in the world, Sainsbury are a business and are free to sell their goods at whatever prices they wish and whether these prices are lower than, equal to or higher than other chains, that is their choice just as it is the customer's choice as to whether or not they shop there.0 -
Our latest batch of coupons gives only £2 off £20. It used to be £4 off.
Not worth the extra petrol to get there now.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.
(Pity they are mangled by this autocorrect!)0 -
You might want to look up the meaning of opaque pricing - which generally means a lower price than average, not higher.
Was trying to to give an opposite meaning to clear which 'transparent' is to me.
Most of the time gobbledygook is a load of BS anyway. The more I live, the more I learn.
The more I learn, the more I grow.
The more I grow, the more I see.
The more I see, the more I know.
The more I know, the more I see,
How little I know.!!0
