I need to edit some .RPT files. I have done a google search and found these to be crystal reports. Do I have to buy a full version of Crystal to edit these, or are there other (cheap/free) editors to do it. I am not about to change the content of the reports which are part of a specialist program application (presumably Crystal is built in behind the scenes like MS Access on which the program is based), I am just wanting to change simple stuff like the font size and location of the heading which don't look right.

You may find a shareware program if you search around with Google - the .rpt editor we use cost around £250 from what I remember & that was a couple of years ago when there wasn't a lot of choice of editing software, but it does do a very good job - it's called '.rpt inspector'0
