Work for my soon to be Year 11 but only just 15 year old

My DD turned 15 at the start of the summer holiday and following in Mum's lead is keen to a) work hard and b) save well.

Problem - most jobs want 16 year olds ( which of course her friends are turning she is the youngest of them all)

Any ideas for jobs available for 15 year olds? A paper round is not practical for her as we live in a small place that does not have paper deliveries.

Hairdressers, family run shops etc will employ under 16's however they will probably get paid next to nothing

My brother turned 15 in July and has been told he can apply to work in Sainsburys in September, as long as he can prove he is in Year 11 and has a teachers reference. Obviously he can't work on tills until he is 16 but he can stack shelves! Not sure about other supermarkets but might be worth a try!

Some shops will take you on when your 15 providing you have an NI number. My sister worked at 15 in BHS under that ruling. They might have tightened it up a bit by now, but its a worth a shot asking around although as you mentioned pretty difficult until she's 16.
