Annie....where do you live? I am in Northamptonshire (doc martens are from here...) we have a Doc Marten factory shop near-ish us, could PM you details if it is worth the trip. They are very cheap. Managed to get kids shoes from £5 earlier this year. (havent been since so not sure what is available at the mo)

Maybe it is worth phoning them and getting them to post them, if you could work out what size/style from internet or something?
  • Hi kmate - where is the factory shop? I'm in Bucks and always have to go into London to get my DM's.... northants would be nearer!
    Thanks,

Oooh I'm bargain crazy today - went to check out the Clarks outlet shop today to see if they had any suitable school shoes for my 2 DD's got DD2 some pretty little shoes for £19 instead of £28 - bargain:dance:
Thinking about DD1 and her problem with shoess, I found a chunky pair of bootleg shoes in a size 4 (her sandals are a 3 and a half so bought a size bigger to hopefully last) There was no price on them so I asked a sales assistant - she came back with £9 so I nealry snatched her hand off LOL. Got to the till and they had gone down to £4.50:j

I wonder how long they'll last though. They are fairly chunky - a boit of a heel on them thogh which I don't really like but for £4.50 I'll put up with it LOL.

    Purple...

The factory shop is in The high street, Wollaston, near wellingborough, northants.

They are closed mondays and tuesdays and open at 10am rest of week, I think.

Cant find a phone number, postcode will be NN29 something.

Sorry vague details, hope this helps......

Annie I know it's a pain but have you tried giving them alot of polish? I mean before she starts scuffing them as well as after (building up a layer). DH is obsessive about polishing DD's school shoes and to be fair although she's a little clumsy oaf her shoes have lasted really well.

And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end
