British Credit Trust PPI

my friend had a car loan with British Credit Trust in 2005 and is sure she had PPI, but has no paperwork, I see according to google that Capquest have taken them over, is it worth trying find out if she can claim any money back,

    The problem your friend might have is that British Credit Trust largely did dealer motor finance, so the PPI complaint would need to be made to the dealer that sold it.

    she knows who the dealer is and they are still trading but has no paperwork for the car, would it be worth pursuing

    Only if it was sold after January 14th 2005.
    She needs to send a SAR to the dealership, but if they have no records, and they are not obliged to keep them 6 years beyond the finance finshing, her complaint is over.
