I will just fill the FEP1 form and send to DVLA. They will have to contact my doctor who provide all details... I'm seizures free for over 12months so I don't mind to have an extra consultation even with DVLA approved specialist.

I very much doubt that will happen. My OH has surrendered her licence and re-applied for it twice, and also renewed her 3-year restricted licence several times, and each time they've accepted what her Dr told them and never asked her to see anyone else.

And the last time she applied to renew her restricted licence they issued her with a standard, unrestricted licence so unless she has another seizure (hasn't had one for many years thanks to the medication) she's good to go until she's 70.

I'm staying positive that after all this mess the only change for me will be restricting license for a year, two or three.
I learned a lot of for now.

    Fingers crossed!

This has got to be a wind up, otherwise stay off the road as both you and your wife are too irresponsible to drive.

He was responsible enough not to drive, he just didn't understand the admin side of it. Believe me, getting a diagnosis of epilepsy is a pretty distressing experience (as is having epilepsy!) and I don't suppose filling in DVLA forms was top of his priority list - plus, I suspect from his postings here that English isn't his first language.

I am well aware of the impact of epilepsy and the legal obligation that both the person and their medical practitioner has on notifying the DVLA, as are you.

If you have been told to notify the DVLA and neither you nor your wife can seek advice, at some point during the 12 months, on either this or the car insurance, then you are irresponsible.

    He says he hasn't driven.

So now you're calling him a liar as well as an idiot.

What a charming person to know you must be (and you, of course, are perfect in every way and have never made a mistake).

    Something doesn't add up here.

The OP stated they were told not to drive 3 years ago. That means the OP's insurance has been renewed since being told not to drive.

Perhaps the insurance has just renewed itself for the last 3 years? But not to have a single piece of contact in 3 years seems strange,

You are absolutely right. I did wrong. It is called as lie and now I fully understand this.
I will post medical condition form to DVLA and will wait for them to respond. Doctor must respond on it and they will respond to me. We will see. I hope this will not take ages.
Insurance is now on my wife name so I recently changed it.. But until that I understood that I was not telling the true to the insurance company. I want to close that "past" of me and my behavior.

Not in so many words. The implication was clear.

No it was not, you misread or misinterpreted it, in fact it was you that called him an idiot and he called himself a liar.
