why do people turn everything into an argument?! thread started to share a freebie with everyone, then some people moan because they don't like other people's diets.... COME ON! Doesn't affect you if other people eat meat or not, so shut up.
(I was a vegetarian for 6 years, but the bacon double cheeseburger got me in the end...)0 -
I've had these before (am a veggie) and they are definitely a help, they do tell you what to eat to have a balanced diet etc. they also clear up a lot of confusing that some people may have. Ignore ignoramuses like Bomberwhite. Um, isn't the whole point in being veggie to stop supporting the meat trade?! oh, boo hoo, a shop supporting animal cruelty just closed! how sad! *sarcasm* idiot.
as for kids seeing the "graphic" pictures, if the slaughtering of animals is obviously so "graphic" why are you supporting it in the first place by letting your kids eat meat? They should see what they are supporting by eating meat and let them make their own informed decisions, not let them grow up under the illusion that a fluffy sheep suddenly turns into a packet of lamb on the counter and that there is nothing wrong with eating meat!money earned online so far:

I completely agree. I find it disgusting how meat is paraded in adverts and in shops as if it were a wonderful thing and as if no cruelty (or needless slaughter) were involved. Could you imagine seeing human corpses or limbs hanging in a butchers or in Sainsburys? It'd be horrific. So why is it any different because it's a living breathing creature that isn't a human?0 -
I've been veggie for 22 years, and vegan for 6
I'm all for Peta distributing graphic images, people should know exactly the amount of suffering that they're causing to when they eat meat / dairy produce.
I hope people will order one of these because they're genuinely interested in vegetarianism though, and not just because something free will arrive in the post.0 -
How many meat eaters does it take to change a lightbulb?
None, they would rather stay in the dark about things.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
