Sorry but iv'e been a vegy for about 12 years and don't understand why you would need a starter pack, you just don't eat meat and animal products don't you?
It's like needing a starter pack to put your pants on, just do it.0 -
valleyk I know what you mean, but my DS has been (fussy) veggie for 2 years and I am always on the look out for new ideasAnyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

For those of you that don't know, some of the information that Peta sends can be a bit graphic so I would look through it first before you give it to your children.0

Sorry to pull rank but i've been veggie for 17 years and i think this will help alot of people, it's not always clear what products have animal in them.Mints and things like deserts you wouldn't think have animal products do, so this is a great find to help people.
And if you just stop eating animal as you sugest, you'll have health problems, you need to replace the animal with other products to get your goodness.
They can be very graphic on the animal cruelty front thou so check it all out before giving it to kids.
On the pants front - I think most people had training for that to, i didn't pop out the womb and pull on my own nappy!Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -
Peta stuff can at times be quite graphic.
If you have small children I'd suggest checking out petakids you can sometimes find some great recipes on there.0 -

Well can't you find the caplocks key to turn it off? :j
Just because some people choose not to eat meat, that doesn't give you the right to tell them what to eat and to 'get a life'.
I don't like to eat dead animals, and 'people like you' aren't going to tell me 'what's good for me'.
Edit: this was a reply to a poster who has now been removed.0 -

you cant have anything about veggies without people getting stupid. why is it acceptable to be so anti-veggie when most veggies are not anti-meat eaters?
hmm... intriguing.0
