Nationwide changed my billing address?

Helllo,
I tried twice to make a purchase online but was declined, I phoned Nationwide and they told me my billing address was saved as some location in Brighton although I have never lived there. I never changed my billing address so I am very confused, anyone else had this problem?

It sounds more like an administrative error rather than a technical problem.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -

I had an email from Barclaycard last year confirming that they'd actioned my change of address - however, I hadn't requested it.
When I phoned them, they said that the request had been made by phone a few days before, accepted that it hadn't been me and offered to cancel the card, get a new one out to me asap, etc., etc.
I told them to just close the account since, if their security was so lousy that someone could arrange a change of address without even being in possession of the card itself, they are not a financial company with whom I wish to do business.0
