Hi, just found I've been paying £7.99 since 2002 for phone insurance. Honestly, I thought it was a fee from my bank which is why I left it so long.
I called PAS and they said they sent out a few letters over the years to an address I don't live at any more. They asked me to provide proof that my phone was covered by home insurance and they will refund payments whilst I had alternative insurance.

I've only had home insurance since about 2006. Do you think I can push for the previous years to be refunded and what would my argument be?

Thanks so much x

  • Ok quick update..
just called back to ask for a copy of the original agreement. They didn't have one so i talked about how i would never have asked for mobile insurance.
Then they offered me a full refund! £1845 going back into my account in the next few days!
    So happy :)
