Problems with SKYPE

I have been using SKYPE VOIP for 18 months, with no real problems, and have regularily updated the Skype program.
This week, I downloaded their latest software, and I have encountered a problem in that Skype just keeps 'disconnecting'. I've never had this problem before - I use Skype because most of my calls are international and tend to last a long time, but now it doesn't even remain connected long enough to make a call. It reconnects, but only for a few seconds.
Any ideas - please.
Thanks - rog2

Thanks MK - I would have thought that SKYPE could have programmed a message to it millions of users
after all they earn quite a bit from us.
Talking of which, I notice that they now make a 'connection' charge of about 3p per call. I don't seem to remember this happening before - again could be wrong - but it CAN make a short call less competitive than BT. Is this the influence of PAYPAL? Just an observation - no need for comments unless anyone else has an opinion.

Thanks MK. I had problems logging in yesterday and didn't know what the issue was. I've reverted to using 18185 for my calls instead.
