There is for me! Seeing the amount decrease was (and still is) so important for me, even if 'all' I did was Tilly Tidies. When we reached mortgage neutral, I was a little lost for a while, but after discussion and decision re investing, dh has taken a lump of the offset to 'play with'. So we'll now have to pay interest again :rotfl:. I have my target back in my sights...
Decide what you want to do. Are you longing to get the total starting with a 2? (I can imagine you all moving in with Ponyplops to make space for all the airbnb-ers who descend on you.)NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Only the 'mental' advantage if you need it of the actual balance decreasing. Otherwise, no. Brillant re the grass liveries.
About £20 to £25 around here..... have you thought about offering a retirment livery or two? Those are really popular in this area...basically you do all the work but the bonus being you get a (probably) much loved and nice elderly or two or three to potter about, keep the grass down and keep yours company ..without the human. I always feel the humans at livery are more of a problem than the equinesMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
You are so right. With retirement I would worry more that the human would decide to stop paying as the neddy isn't worth anything.0
