They are quite timid, but very sweet. Dog not impressed.
Sleepover today for not sure how many children.0 -
Just spent 3 days reading your whole thread - it was definitely 3 days of my annual leave put to good use.
Congratulations on your smallholding - I hope it is everything you thought it would be.
My dream is to buy a smallholding - currently we rent a house and also rent some land in the village (with pigs, turkeys, geese and chickens) so living the smallholder lifestyle without owning.
Will subscribe and follow your journey.0 -

Goodness you are kind!
Yours sounds great. I want chickens but DH says no!
I have just had an ebayer assume I would courier on a local pickup only item and when I said no, she replied with "Oh he'll give you a call".0 -
Morning! ebayer had a tantrum over email. She tried to bid again on the same item relisted but I had blocked her.

Wow! Such a lot going on
I've been thinking about your polytunnel
Two types of food: the basics, the easy stuff like courgettes and beetroot and tatties, cucumbers, tomatoes, all of that, but also the things that people would normally grow inside the house - you could have a little herb plantation of basil and coriander and chili - if you look on it as a smallholding, it's about growing the crops where you can "add value" - or the expensive stuff so that you cut down your outgoings
No chickens?
And kudos to EE for having pigs too, thats downright impressive!Save2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I may be able to counteract any statement he has about them :rotfl:0 -

Yeay to getting the gpigs!! Such brilliant pets for smalls - a good size to handle, not too wriggly (generally - we do have one crazy, mad one) and live for a decent length of time
- and don't often need much vet involvement - so are reasonably cheap!!
