We have friends coming for lunch tomorrow, then a few quiet days I hope and I have to go into work one morning. Troops coming too!0
-
:rotfl::rotfl: that's hilarious, I bet they are fun at a party! I would be tempted to send them a cheque for £1.79, it's got to cause more angst if they are that anal
Glad the smalls are backMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Wow... I know this is a MSE forum but surely it's not worth it for that money? (That they were liable for anyway).0

And are all dh's clothes now a fetching shade of purple pout too? (Yeah, I know you said that dyl0n dye stuff never backfired on the next wash, but I soooo like the idea of him having to dress in purple...)NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

He would give zero fcuks. He barely notices what he's wearing.
The dylon now comes with the salt and in cool pods that go in the machine. The curtain (onecat a time, they are big and heavy) is the correct colour (tulip red). The lining has torn, but they are ten years old and have had a LOT of Sun. A bit of jiggery pokery and they should be good.0 -
Wow that's certainly OTT (putting it politely!) from the buyers!
Sure, you don't want huge (intentional) expenses, bit always been the sort to leaves bottle of wine and a card for the new owners rather than anything g else! Still, theres nowt as queer as folk as they say!
Well done on getting the smallholding going in the end! Are u thinking pollytunnel at some point? Cant say I have the greenest fingers but loving seeing a few fruits (and veg) of our labours paying off in the garden!
XMF planning for the simple life :j0 -
We have a polytunnel. It needs a wash. KC thought courgettes which are easy and maybe beetroot.0
-
Ha, £1.80, how tight - first ones out the cab, last to the bar I bet!0
-
Hi, definitely get your herbs going in the poly tunnel plus salad leaves and leaves for stir fries etc.
Although you could plant outside garlic will do well inside. If you like broad beans they can go outside from October.
Beautiful times ahead.
