  • I have faith...not sure why!

Anyone know the going rate for DIY livery?
  • Morning.

Terrible night's sleep. Worse than awful, with Puppylove gallumphing on the bed at 6.

Lots of jobs to do, including inviting new neighbours for drinks.

Hi shs, easier said than done but try to enjoy the break without the kids, I always felt better once the halfway point had passed. Any nice treats planned for while they are away?
    MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁
  • Hellooo!

We have been out for lunch and Puppylove is spamming them with selfies in various locations!

    Tomorrow the decorating starts!
  • Good morning!

Painting DS' bedroom today and we have a plumber coming to quote for putting an ensuite in what I hope is to become our airbnb room.

Got my car serviced yesterday and some niggly things fixed on it. Haven't seen the bill yet!

Niggly things and cars...there's always something niggly yet our understanding of costs for niggly never seem to match! I shuddered reading your curtain woes, if that happened to Mrs SJ's curtains i fear she'd go John Wick on them!!
    MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......
  • Woulda been within my rights too - they were v.expensive and handmade.

My car fixer is a Pony Club Dad and I totally trust him not to charge over the odds.

Today so far we have between us cleared DS's bedroom and vacuumed then washed the walls with sugar soap. Next up is vacuuming some more and then rinsing the walls. Might get some paint on later. We also had a guy in to quote for adding an ensuite bathroom. Seemed promising.

My thoughts are with anyone waiting on A level results tomorrow. xxx
