Thank you Money!
Still no broadband...mobile signal gives me access only when it isn't raining.
We now have a modern consumer unit for the wiggly amps (RCDs instead of fuses you have to re wire if they blow).
All boxes are empty. DS has chosen bedroom furniture.
Today will be an organising and tidying day. Must get the piano tuner in. DD is working valiantly through Bat out of Hell but it will sound a LOT better when tuned!0 -
Still alive. Still waiting for Origin broadband to provide us with internet access three weeks in...0

BF is allergic to animals so I'm trying to get myself used to the idea of dogs with perms as it seems to be my only option to having a furry friend!
So you wouldn't recommend Origin then?Mortgage Apr 18 £417,894 BTL Mar 18 £162,857

We have new neighbours to our field and they are still waiting for BB after 3 weeks too. Not sure who the provider is though.
Online connectivity is still terrible in rural areas. We have no mobile signal at the field unless we walk up to the top of the field.
Do you start your new job in September?0 -
Just caught up. So while I was off in la la land you have moved and got a new job....fab ... I might go away again
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
New job in January. Wotcha Watty!
Dogs with perms can be lovely but I think x standard rather than miniature poodle.
