Long time lurker...first time commenter! I have found this re land...the people we bought our house off paid £30000 for 2 acres of land attached to our house...when we bought it all off them only 4 yrs later we only paid £10000 more than they had bought just the house for origionally so they lost £20000 on the whole thing. Also we had the opportunity to buy 3.5 more acres attached to our field but we were told by estate agents that it wouldn't actually increase the value of our whole property at all..it just doesn't make sense to me!!

I can't say I'm May's biggest fan but I also cannot imagine the alternative.

Now, if the national conversation was carried on as well as you two peeps just did, we'd be in much better shape

Communists :D I used to go to socialist stuff all the time, and often got addressed as "comrade" :D (the odd "compagnera" in there too :D) but I only ever met a genuine English revolutionary once - in the sense of hiding their true motivations and wanting a full coup d'etat - pretty girl who looked like a model, and wore silk dresses to her work with a charity! I assume she grew out of the revolutionary stuff, but you can never tell ...
