Just caught up on the past month of your diary! Am crossing my fingers for the potential buyers coming back from hols with an offer x

  • I hope to God she is enjoying it.
I had nightmares about the Plops broncing and slightly randomly zombies on buses. Worst night's sleep in ages.
I did this alone at ten. She is thirteen but children are not so tough in today's world.
The potential buyers know we had another viewer and have yet to match money with mouth.

The house we liked has been taken off the market.
  • Well she is ok. A little damp. Another drawer decluttered.

Glad to here your daughter is well and I'm sure she's enjoying it. :)

Also, great news re. another viewer, are they booked in?
    2018 totals:

  • These are people in the village who have already viewed.

I have rather lost heart in the process.

Sorry to hear the house has been taken off, maybe they are just weary of the process like you. It's always a possibility to pop a note thought the door in the future if you do get a buyer, they may still be interested in selling?

  • Yes. Thanks NG.
He still wants to sell. According to the most recent agent he has only had offers 50k under asking which is actually 50k under what he paid in 2003.

This reflects the state of the place and I think he intends to do some of the work. Whether he will or not...

It really is a state, such that we would not move straight in - and I'm not fussy!

Wow how can it be less that what he paid in 2003 ? Unless it was pristine and now it's not!

  • I can't understand how he paid as much as he did then. Especially since he has extended the place and built barns.

But...three dogs, no CH, rubbish everywhere, black mould.

Also...private road owned by someone else with terrible potholes.
  • Asked the smalls what they wanted to do today and they said "go to the recycle shop".
    Cheap outing! Spent £3.20
