Peace and quiet, wildlife and wildflowers, open vistas, it's perfect. We had the only one in the town about 100 yards away from us, and it was great.

DH just reminded me our last house was right by the graveyard but somehow it is less spooky with a church attached.

It was behind a wall and I didn't give it a thought.

I used to drive by a house off a rural lane with a graveyard for a garden. I loved it. So quiet, as KC says lots of lovely wildlife and vistas and no need to garden much. And think of the fun researching who is "out there"....

I guess that's one way to get to know your neighbours.

Well DH back to work today. It is going to be a long day as DS has already started the vacuum cleaner lectures. He has been going half an hour already.

I must remember that relatively soon he will be at uni and won't want to talk to me.

wash bedlinen
sort out car insurance
book puppylove in to vets
apply for replacement driving licence.

Dishwasher unloaded and on, wm unloaded and on.

We have been living it up for more than a week. Feeling really unhealthy as a result!

Vacuum cleaner lectures? My brother was good with the vacuum cleaner as a teen, actually!

I know what you mean about the living it up - for me, it usually means my body is crying out for water.

Booked the dog in to the vets
Got my head round the exam board work
next to ring about insurance.
