  • Hello Hannah!
You won't find any inspiration here just monosyllabic grumpiness.

    Although...

DH has been teaching a colleague's class and has turned in a rather decent lot of overtime this month so woohoo!

Off to bright lights big city...well town at least...tomorrow so the kids can spend their Christmas vouchers. No point rushing into it and the farrier is due at 7.30. Eek.

  • Expensive day with shopping and farrier! I think I would have been a bit perturbed about the toddler too.

I always ask in advance if I have to take the second child. Some people did it when we had parties, some asked, some didn't, but I prefered to be asked in advance to plan for numbers.

As it happened they didn't charge us extra Earthie but if they has asked in advance...it was £9 a head.

    Thanks Elephant!

As it turned out a VERY expensive day.

    Farrier £87
Lunch at pizza express £11 - drinks. Antipasto paid for by tokens.
Pudding and dinner from M $S. £3 over the voucher I had.

The kids spent some Christmas and birthday money.

Then £215 for two body protectors for the DDs for riding.

I did talk the price down from £250 to £215, and they are no cheaper new on the bay of e. Ouchie!

Also a tank of diesel £80.

Oof. There will be a wine challenge starting now.

    No buy until July.

I have seen a house I want to buy in a place called Black Dog.
  • Ooh Shs £87 for the farrier - what was he doing?
We had the farrier yesterday too - €60 to file 2 horses hooves. Their feet are better looked after than my own.

Sounds like an expensive few days.

Saddle check today. She has better looked after feet AND back than me.
  • Blog updated. I have been remiss!
  • Is there any more interest in your house? I can't believe nobody has snapped it up, it looked so pretty and comfortable.
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
