I think it took about 1 1/2 stone before people noticed it on me - and then I went and put it all back on! :( That 1 1/2 stone didn't mean any smaller clothes, either - as I'd obviously been squeezing myself into things a size too small - but it did mean that they then began to fit better :)

We're meant to be decorating here, too - DS3's room - but OH is still asleep in bed...... Ho hum

  • Ha ha. Also squeezing self into too small clothes!

Items 1 and 2 done and 4 started.

For the first time I can see why they boarded over the period moulded doors in the 60s. The filth that collects!
  • The touching up and the porch didn't go so well but the rest was good.
I am too unfit for a full day of manual labour.
  • Right. Up and at 'em. Photos day.

    Wish us luck!
  • Go girl. :)

We're almost at the end of our week long exercise to decorate the front room. That makes it sound like it is a very large room but it isn't, it's one of the smallest front rooms I have had but there is only me and youngest doing it and I have about as much energy and physical ability as a melted chocolate spoon so can only do a few hours a day and even then, in little bits with rests in between.

Despite having a major declutter just over a year ago, there has been a mammoth amount of stuff being chucked out this time including furniture, some of it intentional, some of it because when we moved them, they fell to pieces!

Goodness only knows what middle and eldest are going to say when they come home from university for Easter (if they both come home that is, eldest may be staying there this time), it will probably be a session of moan a lot.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
