It's a different world with horses! Is it you riding, or DD? I wish you could do your errands on the Plops, that would be a great sight
there's a pub in a local village with a horserail outside, and it's genuinely used in the summer (I think its adults from one of the local riding schools - looks great, though). 2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I'm now wondering which village
I know of a local pub around here that also has a hitching rail and is well used. I keep meaning to take Most Handsome there. We would have to pop him in the lorry, drive there, go for a ride, then hitch him up at the pub then pop in lorry to get home but I think it might be a nice thing to try Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
DD riding, me walking puppylove. Turns out Plops can be perfectly well behaved when her mother is present.
I think I am done for today.0 -

Great news on the booking.
I quite fancied doing air B and B as we have 2 spare double rooms, one with an ensuite, but DH put the kibosh on that as he didn't want strange folk in the house and has worries about security.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%

Brilliant news, SHS!
As for security, I think it's earthgirl who brings her kids into her room when her renters are male, I'm not sure. Years ago, when I was in Canada and I went to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, the B&B people I stayed with had their kids in their room and rented out the kids rooms for the duration of the festival.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
