Financial help for hnc/hnd (Scotland)

Does anyone know what help is available to a student doing an hnc or an hnd?
I am asking on my daughter's behalf. She would be doing it at a local college.
I have about £3000 saved up for her, as I thought she might want to go to uni. If she lived at home I would need some financial contribution from her as I am a single parent. I would obviously take the minumum I could.

HNC/HND are classed as Higher Education so are eligible for all the same funding as other HE courses. HNCs are sometimes part-time and the fuding for part-time courses is different, so you need to check that.
If you live in Scotland, use this website to look at the available funding: http://www.saas.gov.uk/0
