help installing tomtom on pda

I had tom tom 6 with western European maps installed on my pda(dell x50). When my battery went flat the tom tom application was wiped.
I have lost the original disc so cannot reinstall it, i do however still have all the maps, data etc on sd card.
I also have a full version of tomtom 5.21 with uk maps. Is it possible to use this version with the European maps on sd card as when i try it says no maps found.
I am driving from portugal to spain soon so any help would be greatly appreciated
