Unable to send mail through Sky email server.

Hoping a knowledgeable peep can help with this issue.
Recently I became unable to send email through Skys server.
Outgoing setting was relay.o2broadband.co.uk, this has worked since being migrated to Sky. Changed to smtp.tools.sky.com, still fails to send.
It was suggested that I need to logon to Skys webmail browser and verify my external email addresses, I find they are already verified when I attempt to verify them.
I then find http://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Yahoo-Mail/Unable-to-send-emails-since-a-couple-of-weeks-back-pls-help/td-p/2328820 however, I have already tried all this anyway.
Calling Sky has not been fruitful as they don't appear to understand the issue.
Help appreciated.

Obviously you need to use the correct SMTP settings. Try here
