Redundancy Notice period.

On a month`s notice,to be made redundant, would going sick delay the inevitable?
Would I still get company sick pay?
Thanks in advance.

Being sick would not delay anything. And whether you got company sick pay would depend on the company policy.

But you may want to remember that many employers now ask for sickness records as part of their recruitment and it does affect your chances of getting a job.

I'm not an expert but I believe the answers are no and yes (assuming you'd get company sick pay if you weren't being made redundant)
