Off to Kenya (mombasa) Over xmas and would like to go on a safariwhilst there!:beer:
has anybody been out there and do you have any recomendations:D
I would hate to have to give any of the high street travel agents any more of my hard earned

Hi Dave. Ive been to Kenya three times now and if you have never been before then it is a place you will either love or hate.....there is no inbetween. Your safari is all down to time and budget, if you want a good chance of seeing your big 5 then I would always go Masi Mara, it is one of my favourites. My next favourite place is Tsavo East.....only place in the world you will see red elephants (thats cos they roll in the red dust :-P).

Let me know if you want any advice. The only thing I would recommend is that if you are going over xmas then try and book your safari over here in advance as places are limited and all the hotels will be full of people wanting to go on safari.
