Home hair colouring - how do you rinse off?

I have been successfully streaking my hair for several years with a Jerome B Blonde kit.
Until now, we've had one of those "shower spray" taps which is part of the bath. Shampooing and rinsing was dead easy as I just leaned over the bath, still fully clothed.
Next week we're having the old bathroom ripped out, new fitments etc. and a walk-in shower installed instead of the bath.
It's just struck me that I won't be able to do my own hair any more. Getting in a shower with hair dye or bleach doesn't sound a good idea to me.
This must be a fairly common problem, so what do other people do?
(I know I could go to the hairdresser but it was costing me £90 for colour, cut and dry so that's why I tried the money-saving home kit in the first place).

I just rinse it off in the shower - I've been doing that for years, no problem. And that's with many colours over the years - brown, blonde, red, pink (only once!). The waters running so it washes straight down and off your body, no problem at all.
I always rinse the colour out first though, then put in conditioner, then scrub myself clean before rinsing out the conditioner.0 -
Doesn't the dye/bleach get in your eyes - even a little bit?
That's what's scaring me to be honest.0 -
just what fixx has already said, no issues at all. as good old bonnie tyler would say, "turn around bright eyes...", just face away from the water to start off when rinsing0

Thank you both.
I feel better about trying it now0 -
Is it a shower you can't take off the fitment/wall and wave about? How're you ever going to shave your legs too!0

i don't shave - I use an epilator to pull the hairs out!0

You could get a basin tap that pulls out on a hose, like hairdressers have.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

I just jump in the shower, throw my head back, rinse colour out, put conditioner on, wash my body, rinse out conditioner, job done.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

We have an over the bath shower but if I'm just washing my hair I use a plastic jug to rinse with, find it easier. could you do the same over the kitchen sink perhaps or in the bathroom basin. Perhaps even get one of those push on shower fitments and use that in the sink, just pull it off and put it away when not needed?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

We should take care of our hair while rinse off.We should prefer home remedies for our hair colour to look our hair texture good.We can apply hair cap too for safety.Try to apply oil before washing hair when coloured,it makes us hair shiny and glossy.Use blonde-dye,bleach bath etc.0
